Why can't I pulverize Sulfur (Thermal Expansion) into Sulfur (Railcraft) like the wiki says?

They changed how the pulverizer works in one of the recent updates, you can't pulverize sulfur anymore.

Modpack:Direwolf20 Pack

I've tried putting the sulfur (which I got from pulverizing blaze rods) in one at a time or stacks of 2, 3, 4, etc. I also made sure there is power and it is pulverizing other stuff. The one I have is the shiny one kind of, and I need the matte colored one. The wiki says in three different places that this can be done. Is it no longer the case?

Any help is really appreciated.

I'm on the Direwolf20 pack with the following mods disabled: Twilight Forest, Mystcraft, Portal Gun, and the three wireless redstone ones.
