Streak brought up a good suggestion for this wiki, a similar achievement system as the one present on the wikia wiki.

Can you make it so when you search for something, it does it by the title and not the content? I always hated that about wikia; it makes it harder to search for things.

I don't know, in most Wikias I've been in badges were turned off because people spammed things just to get the badge...

I think there should be a page for exactly how to set up an article. It would use step by step instructions with labels and examples.

A template page would be very useful in this case.

I believe the current wiki has something like this now, but nothing too specific at the moment.

Since the new wiki does not have a "visual mode" like wikia does, some people may have trouble using wikitext. I would like to create a "How-To" or "First Steps"-like article for the new wiki, describing various features. Hopefully we can manage something simple and straightforward to help people start out

If the wiki has templates (I expect it has), there should also be pages on how exactly to use the templates and when to use them, like saying what types of 'machines' there are in a machine template like 'Grid/Machine' in the current FTB wiki, and it should also tell people to just test, when they've made the page, whether all the links in the crafting grids work and bring them to the actual page of the item, not a disambiguation page.

Hope I helped!

It shouldn't be hard to add in a visual editor.

There should also be a more obvious link from the wiki to the forums

I'm still working on implementing something similar, but this is not easy due to the extensive caching we implement to make sure the wiki runs smoothly. It might take a while before such a feature becomes available, it at all. I'm certainly not giving up on it though.

Most browsers have built in dictionaries. I can verify Google Chrome has this feature.

(about adding a link to the forums on the wiki that is easily accessible)
I still cant find it. Is there a problem with adding it?

It's in the bottom box on the right, next to the articles.
