With Thermal Expansion now updated for 1.7.10 and added to Unstable, I've decided to give the pack another go. I haven't gotten far, but what I've seen shows real promise for 1.7 modpacks. I've had some fun trying to get Pneumaticraft seeds to plant without drifting off into space or shooting out into the ocean, collected some Botania mystic flowers (though have no idea yet what to do with them), and was pleasantly surprised to find some dense ores while mining. There are still some rough edges, like a bad texture on the tinkers' pattern chest and some oddness with the Baubles inventory button, but overall it's been quite playable so far.

What new mods/features coming with 1.7 do you think look the most fun?

About time that TE updated..

If you craft the Lexica Botania, check out the interface it has, its really cool. It should also help with Botania. And those Pneumaticraft plants are best encased in glass. But make sure not to plant slime plants with potion plants, that causes crashes.

EDIT: Glenn's Gases has been removed(Yay!) It might just be me, but there is oil and water everywhere. Oreberry bushes are still prevalent. Botania flowers are quite scarce now. Oh, and when you kill mobs they spawn souls now thanks to Random Things. The acheivments for Tinkers Construct don't appear to exist at the moment.

Yeah, it breaks when NEI updates. But TE has upgrades now? O_O

They sure do look on NEI under Augment, Havent had time to make any of the machines yet as i started a new map when it updated and cant seem to find ANY redstone atm still i hope to find some soon.

O.K just a quick update, when making the Stirling engine from ender io make sure you use the NEI recipe and not the one from the wiki pageother wise you`ll end up making an extra basic capacitor (which was my mian reason for the redstone hunt from earlier on >.<) NVM got more uses for it now anyway. Also another thing is now the energy conduits have gone from Thermal expansion i tried using the Ender IO conduit but when i attached it to a Thermal Expansion Sawmill it continued to use power even when the sawmill wasnt running, so make sure to add a lever or another way of giving it a redstone signal to turn it off 100%

How will this work, having no energy conduits? I need to read up on the new mechanics...

Also, no more Thaumcraft...DX

EDIT: The TE wiki says, "Dont't ask about 1.7!" So much for extensive research...There is some info..

I need to learn the wiki syntax and whatnot before I do much of that...Maybe some help?

More updates! 1.0.6 and 1.0.7 are out. No changelog on 1.0.7 just yet. I noticed the link to the changelog is borked, maybe someone can fix that?

Also, TE machines can have some of their old abilities restored by using the augmentations, such as the auto-export and redstone control options.

Glenn's Gases was re-added in 1.0.6...DX Explosions here we come...

EDIT: First notable change is the addition of BluePower by Quetzz...

EDIT 2: If you Veinmine something and your tool breaks, it creates ghost blocks and other problems, but re-logging fixes things. Other than that, Veinminer is awesome.

Best way to learn it is to look at existing pages, most of the time it is easy to see what means what. If you're unsure, edit a page and use the Preview button to see what would happen. As long as you don't press Save you can't break anything, but of course you need to save for others to see your edits. As long as you check the preview once before saving, you should be fine.

By the way, you can log in on the wiki with your forum account, that way your edits appear as made by you rather than an IP address.

Ok, I might take a look at that.

They updated Unstable AGAIN! O_O 1.0.8 is now live!

EDIT: Fixed the broken changelog link on the Unstable page and updated mod information. Feedback appreciated! If I'm doing things right, I might update the mod list next.

Ok, updated ENTIRE PAGE to 1.0.5. (RIP Fingers) I think everything is done right... The changelog area takes up most of the page though, how do you add a dropdown function? Also, I was possibly going to make some new TE pages, but I don't know how to make pages...or handle disambiguation pages either.

For now your best bet would be following red links, I guess.

Do we need changelogs for the pack listed on the page? We usually link to the official Confluence page of the pack ( https://feedthebeast...ay/PML/Unstable in your case) instead of providing the whole changelog ourselves, check out other packs like http://ftbwiki.org/FTB_Horizons and http://ftbwiki.org/Tech_World_2

Some of the other modpacks have had them just for quick reference, and this one had one as well. I just updated it while I was at it.

EDIT: Updated page to 1.0.8.

EDIT 2: Is it just me, or is this pack really laggy?
