Open the launcher, go to the Options tab. In the Advanced Options window, "Download Location" is probably set to 'Automatic'. Try changing it to a different location (preferably whichever is closest to you). Do not select 'CurseCDN', since that's the default and seems to be what's causing problems for you.

Its been a day since i posted on the ****** support forums, no1 gives a ***** there.

"Error Ocured during downloading assets"

No I dont have any anti-virus , i've allowed it in my firewall , i got 3 gigs of RAM on it,i've unistalled all java and installed the most recent one java 8. and im still getting this

I've fixed it . had to ask for a friend to download it for me, i got his files and i can run it...
