Chunks reset on server crash?

Hello,

 

I'm running a server with my house mates that went down this morning. Someone managed to trip a fuse and shut the power off.

 

After restarting the server we found some chunks had been "reset", i.e. filled with the original world blocks. Turns out it only happened in chunks that contained ender tanks, which was where all our machines and storage chests were. Is there any way to recover these chunks?

Check if there were Previous Versions made by Windows Updates.
