When I logged on today I had all my normal suff I had had before I logged on yesterday, but I was in creative mode which this world is a survival world. Then after a minute my things in my side bar disappeared and were reaplaced with things I have in a diffrent creative  mode world what happened and how can I fix this. Any help would be much appreciated.

Also I take damage as though I am in survival.

Are you on Cheat Mode, and have you made a inventory Save file (when you open your inventory, if you are on Cheat Mode, there should be some buttons to the left of the actual inventory, saying 'Save 1', 'Save 2', 'Save 3', etc. Or 'Load 1', 'Load 2', etc. If there's one that's different from the others, you have.)?

I don't thinks so, but I might have. And another thing I forgot to mention is the box that has all the items in the game that you get in creative mode is there but it is blank.


Also, I was having problems yesterday with randomly changing into creative mode.


Oh uparently I did have a save and I might have clicked it. So how do I undo this?


After some investigation it seems there is a survival mode, a creative mode, and a mode between creative and survival. I discovered this by clicking on the turn creative mode on button and I got creative mode then when I clicked it again I had what I had had before were I took survival damage and could fly. When I clicked the button again I was back to survival. I would still like to know how to get my stuff back though.

You might want to do a quick read-through of the Note Enough Items page--NEI adds a bunch of fancy new GUIs to your inventory, including the one shuttling you between Creative and Survival modes. Unfortunately, you likely cannot get your items back. Fortunately, you should be able to spawn some new ones, using either the creative tabs or the item compendium provided by NEI on the right side of your screen. Good luck, Survivor!

If there is the Survival/Creative/Creative+ button (and the Saves), you were definitely on Cheat Mode. For the future, if you don't plan on cheating, I would definitely suggest you put yourself on Recipe Mode! To do this, open your Inventory, press the O button on your keyboard, and change the thing that says 'Cheat Mode' to 'Recipe Mode' (click on it once).

Before you do that, though, I'm not sure you can get your previous Inventory back, but as Ora suggested, you could use Creative or NEI to cheat them in.

Thanks I did what you said and I got some of my stuff back but not all of it because I don't remember what all the stuff I lost was. I have also changed to recipe mode from cheat mode. Thanks guys!
