Texture pack crashing game ?

i downloaded the sortex texture pack for the ultimate pack but when i turned it on (in game multiplayer) it crashed my game and scince everytime i try to log on i get the sortex mojang then blackscreen then it takes me back to the launcher :( any help fixing this problem would be appreciated

Are you sure you downloaded the proper version for Feed The Beast Ultimate, and can your computer handle it if the texture pack is high-def?

yeah im sure that i downloaded the right pack but im not sure that my computer can handle it is there a way that i can change the texture pack without loading the game ?

I'd assume that if you delete (or move) the texture pack files from where they are, Minecraft would revert to the default texture pack, but I'm not 100% sure this is the case.

you mean move or delete the files from f.t.b using %appdata% ? because i have allredy tryed that(b.t.y i downloaded the texturepack from the f.t.b launcher)
