I have been doing alot of bee breeding and now I want to get into tree breeding but I don't know anything about it. I just want to know what you do to get started breeding trees and not which trees you breed to get another.

The very basics: plant 2 trees of different types near your active apiaries/alvearies. The bees will cross-pollinate the trees, changing some of the leaf blocks to a different type. Use a grafter on these changed leaves to guarentee a sapling drop (note: there's a bug that it doesn't work at low durability), then use a treealyzer to see what you've received.

Certain types of Flower traits won't work on trees, so make sure you're using bees with one of the ones that will give you mutated leaves.  A faster poillination trait is helpful but not mandatory.  Even with good pollinators, it takes quite some time to get new trees.  If you've worked with Thaumcraft, a Repair enchanted Thaumium Grafter will save you from having to rebuild the normal ones regularly.

Ok what bees are good for the pollinating?

Any of the Flowers traits listed, and whatever the best Pollination trait you have access to. All of the ones listed under "Any Trees" will work, the only difference is how fast (which is based on the Pollination trait.)  More trees around the apiaries also increases your odds, since there are more potential leaf blocks to mutate.

It is a good idea to set up a refilling system for your apiaries, that way they will get constant cross pollination chances.
