Hi Community,

first, sorry for my English, I'm German.

The intention of my account registration here was to create and edit wiki pages non-anonymously. So I opened the wiki (ftbwiki.org) page and clicked on registration. But after I'm getting the E-Mail, I recognized that I created an account for this forum. I tried to log in with the account at the wiki, but it says, my username was not found.

I searched in the forum and the wiki for some information about this, but I haven't found anything.

What I'm doing wrong? Did I missunderstood something?

Thanks for help, Thax.

It might be that the apostrophe in your username is causing issues. I will look into it, but you might have to change it.

Thanks for the fast response.
I changed my name to Thaxllssillyia, but it is still not working on the sign in page of the wiki.

Eh, why do you blocked my Ip-Adress? Many Wiki-articles related to machines/cables/other stuff that are related to Eu consumption are wrong.
Many wiki users become confused with EU/t and EU/p (similar to Voltage). For example the Recycler. The maximum Voltage/Packet Size is 32EU/p. It explodes if it is receiving more than this 32EU/p. But it cannot receive more than 32EU/t, never mind of exploding. Please keep that in mind.

An example is the article in this forum:
http://ftbforums.org...oltage#entry554
The user who started the thread also became confused with EU/t and EU/p.

Yesterday I sent 1350 EU/t through a glass fibre cable (where the wiki said: max 512EU/t) to a matter fabricator, produced by around 45 Thermal Generators. It works perfektly.

The Voltage/PackeSize was 24 EU/p (emitted by the Thermal Generators). Than I connected the Input glass fibre cable to the MV-Transformer (512EU/p) with the output glass fiber cable of last (128EU/p) by mistake and...boom - my nearby LV-Transformer (max input packet size 128EU/p) explodes.

Please also have a look at the official wiki, for example:
http://feed-the-beas...ass_Fibre_Cable
This article is right.

and unblock my IP adress, please.

BTT: Do you found a solution for my wiki account problem?

Sorry, the block was my bad, you should already be unblocked. I've restored the semicolon in your displayname, you can't actually change your username on the forums, only the name that is displayed. The apostrophe was definitely the problem, I've written a fix for the bridge between the forums and the wiki, please try it again now. If it still doesn't work, I'll remove the apostrophe from your username.

No, it isn't working. I tried it with username Thaxll'ssillyia and Thaxllssillyia, but the wiki server always post "Login failed". I apologize for the inconvenience with my username...

No problem. I'm surprised it still wasn't working. I've removed the apostrophe from your username, I'm fairly certain it will work now.

Thank you. It works.

Now I have to do some changes to EU related articles, but I recognized that you reverted the cable articles to my version. ;)

For the majority of users the distinction between EU/t and EU/p is probably too technical.

Most people incorrectly think energy=power. I've even seen ads on TV encouraging people to switch to the new energy saving bulbs that get it wrong and use the terms interchangeably.
