Xychorium Soil problem

Best Answer Feronzed , 22 June 2013 - 02:17 PM

No, the problem is that MFR Planter plants seeds/saplings/etc. only on vanilla farm land materials like farm land and slowsand (netherwart).

P.S. - I've sent Power Crystals message to add that option into config file.

Using the FTB Ultimate Pack (1.4.7 obviously). Having a little problem here, the wiki says Xychorium Soil will grow any crop with a few exceptions. I can't plant wheat on it, and obviously a MFR Planter won't work. Is there a fix for this?

Is there a block two blocks above the Soil?

Have you watched the Block Spotlight by quetzi?

Try placing other plants.

There is clear skies above the farm. Pic1 Pic2

Seen the video, nothing I didn't already know from watching Direwolf 20. >.<

The Block Spotlight video says wheat works and he showed wheat working.

Just to be clear, you can't manually place a seed on it either?

TBH? Don't know, the prospect of planting a 25x25 (625 blocks) area didn't seem appealing. >.< Say if I can, then it would mean MFR doesn't work with XYCraft, yes? :(

Yes, pretty much.

Do try it.

Yeah, I posted to his MFR thread saying I found a bug and hoped it would be fixed for the 1.5 or 1.6 FTB update. >.< Replanted it all in dirt making sure that each 5x5 quadrant has a water source in the center to keep it all hydrated. Oy. >.< Thanks all!

Yeah, better stick to using Thaumcraft straw golems if you want to use Xychorium soil.

Went simpler, replaced the XYSoil with regular dirt and for every 5x5 quadrant I dug up the center block and put down a bucket of water. Nearly 2k wheat in about 10 hours, more than enough for the biofuel production. :D

Water hydrates up to 4 blocks out, so you can actually do 9x9 (direwolf) quadrants.
