When i go into the FTB launcher options it says the max amount of RAM is 1.75 GB and i want to use at least three. How can i get this to work from the launcher....PS: I have 8 GB of RAM on my computer.

If I had to guess, I'd say you have a 32-bit version of Java installed. You should remove that and get a 64-bit version (as long as your system is 64-bit, which I hope it is based on the specs you mentioned).

 

If that's not the problem... I dunno. Run the launcher as an administrator? The launcher allows me to assign 3GB and more, no problems, so the issue is somewhere on your end.

ok thanks i think i do have a 64 bit java but i will check and try the other things you said thanks for the help
