Posted this on the main page talk a while ago...

Apparently there are a few tutorial pages with only placeholder text suggesting to add a tutorial, such as Tutorial:Advanced Machines or Tutorial:Gravitation Suite. Is there any specific reason why they exist and should be kept, or can I go ahead and delete them?

So, what do you think? Another suggestion that I have would be to make a main "Tutorials" page, with one section per mod. That way we have a central place for tutorials and remove the need for so many "hub" pages.

I don't think they need to be deleted. Unless you have a tutorial in mind for the same thing but needing to be differently named for some reason.

If you have information you want to add you can add it.

Those were probably placeholders back when we had no tutorials anyways, or they are someone's idea to try to get people to make tutorials for those.

Oh, and I totally missed Tutorial:Main. Whoops.

Yeah the navigation can be bothersome... maybe we need a navbox template for all the tutorials?

That might be good.

And I just came up with an idea for reorganizing Tutorial:Main. Currently we have two sections - tutorials sorted by mod, and tutorials sorted by category. How about making a sortable (wiki)table with the tutorial name, mod and category as columns, so you can sort by those.

Sure that can be done.

btw, I've created a short proof-of-concept version on User:dgelessus/Tutorials. Seems to work fine.

Okay, I'll go ahead and move User:dgelessus/Tutorials into template namespace and integrate it into Tutorial:Main. Will leave the mod-specific tutorial pages for now.

Weird... how come the arrows that indicate you can sort by a column alphabetically aren't shown here?
They still sort by column alphabetically but the arrows don't show...?

I noticed them missing in some other places as well... maybe something in the CSS manages to hide them for some reason.

I'll link RZR0 to notify him of the issue just so that he is aware of it.

He likely won't find the time to fix such a tiny aesthetic issue though.

Well, I've looked into it for five minutes or so, and all I know is that it's something I can't fix :P
