WHO WOULD LIKE TH AHVE THE RUINS MOD INCLUDED IN FEED THE BEAST ULTIMATE?

JUST WANTET TO ASK, BECAUSE THEN I WOULD LOVE ULTIMATE EVEN MORE.

Sadly the Ultimate pack has been discontinued.

Unleashed and Unhinged replaced it, but I think it was officially replaced by the one of those two with GregTech

Sadly the Ultimate pack has been discontinued.

Unleashed and Unhinged replaced it, but I think it was officially replaced by the one of those two with GregTech

I'm pretty sure that Unleashed is the one that is the main pack.

From what I heard the Ultimate team had an argument and split their ideas into two packs.

From what I heard the Ultimate team had an argument and split their ideas into two packs.

Greg from GregTech and mDiyo from Tinker's Construct had a spat, because together their mods introduced an infinite iron bug, and each blamed the other. The FTB team then put together Unhinged with input from Greg, and Unleashed with everything they wanted (minus GregTech).

Nah that is a more recent argument, I am talking about long before that that is what caused Ultimate to split into two modpacks.

To be fair, that infinite iron bug afaik is technically both of their faults since they both handle ores wildly differently and then trying to mix those differences caused the issue.

If you have auto-smelt+fortune enabled in the config, you can use a Tinker's Pickaxe that has Auto-smelt and Fortune modifiers to break a Block of Iron (the kind made from 9 iron ingots) to get more than 9 ingots back.

Then why don't they just include an exception for Blocks of Metal and Fortune?

Because the mod war already started. Now they're just blaming each other for unrelated things.

Yes, and unless it's changed in recent updates, the default config for Tinker's Construct in Unleashed does disable auto-smelt+fortune.
