Apparently we're missing A LOT of vanilla minecraft item icons, and some of the grid icons seem transparent but really aren't for some reason, but otherwise any thoughts before we start using it?

Likely because we only recently started allowing Vanilla articles.Apparently we're missing A LOT of vanilla minecraft item icons
Likely because we only recently started allowing Vanilla articles.
Did we? I thought the rule was always as long as it focused on aspects relating to FTB they were allowed.

"recently"... they were allowed since I joined the site, which is a few months ago... or more, honestly I can't remember
PS:
Although it is probably pointless to add the images myself (RZR0 appears to have a bot for that), how exactly does one get isometric block renders? Are there programs for that?

I think now we add just a bit of information about the block/item, with the template that links to the MCWiki article.
Is that right?

What CO said is in the Style Guide, what you said is common practice. Maybe doing both would be a good idea?

Definitely link to the MCWiki article, but beyond a basic description of the block (plus recipes and usage) the rest of the article should cover things that are changed/added with FTB mods. Basically an article on cobblestone shouldn't go into detailed things like blast resistance or how to generate it with water and lava, but would cover how to make it with an Igneous Extruder, additional uses such as macerating it into sand, etc.
The rule used to be NO Vanilla items WHATSOEVER.Did we? I thought the rule was always as long as it focused on aspects relating to FTB they were allowed.
lol to me that is recent. =b"recently"... they were allowed since I joined the site, which is a few months ago... or more, honestly I can't remember

and now I think it is make entire articles for Vanilla stuff that has FTB alterations or additions.
I don't think...
Like CO said, "Basically an article on cobblestone shouldn't go into detailed things like blast resistance and how to generate it with water and lava".
And I am not including the full stop (full stop) in the quotation.
Unless I should because in the original text there was a comma?
This is confusing.

Nooo, you are quoting an entire sentence, so the full stop/period has to go into the quotes!

No, it wasn't a full sentence:

Uhhh, but blast resistance goes in the infobox?I don't think...
Like CO said, "Basically an article on cobblestone shouldn't go into detailed things like blast resistance and how to generate it with water and lava".
Uhhh, but blast resistance goes in the infobox?
Why would that be a bother?
Yes it should go in the infobox, I was just trying to think of advanced things the MCWiki might discuss that would be irrelevant for us to elaborate on.
I've started work on the vanilla images, sorry for the delay. Playing catchup everywhere because of my killer todo list.
<=== This one is so pretty
I probably won't be able to finish all of em today, but I'll try to get as much done as I can.

Awesome, looks like its almost done! And no hurry, with all the new 1.6 modpacks I'm sure there's a lot of other stuff to do. The vanilla stuff won't be going anywhere.

Horizons, right?
DW1.6, Magic Farm 2, FTB Lite 2, Tech World 2.
Do you even bother to open the Launcher?

But... they are?
If they don't update the versions of the old ones to say "FTB Lite (v2.0.0)" or whatever, it's technically a... different modpack? Just with a similar name...
