Hey guys!

I just finished putting together a spreadsheet, calculating the required components and their material cost, for constructing an ME Molecular Assembly Chamber, of any size desired.  The "modes" supported by the calculator is:

  • Cube (all sides of equal length)
  • Cuboid (length, width and height can be input separately)
  • Expansion (input current measurements and desired measurements)

In addition to inputting the dimensions of the cube, there is a field for how many Pattern Providers to put in.  CPU number is calculated as the rest of the cube's interior.

I put a download link on the ME Molecular Assembly Chamber wiki page - and here  :)

If anyone would want to edit the fields - for whatever reason - the password is "pass".  All cells but the required inputs are locked, just to prevent accidental edits.

Also, first post.

This is great, and I think it would be quite a time-saver for some people out there.

Also, welcome to the FTB Forums! :D

Just to proof my own work, I blindly trusted the calculations and started expanding my MAC.  My previous machine was a 6x6x6 block with 8 Pattern Providers, and I wanted to expand it to 14x14x10 with 24 Pattern Providers.  Both the materials and the blocks calculated was spot on! :)

Now my ME network idly consumes about 1650 energy, but that's something I will have to live with :P
