I saw in the wiki it says to have favourite morph do  shift ~  but its not working. Is there another button or something you have to do before you can have a favourite one. Would being on a mac have anything to do with.

You should not have to hold shift, just having the morph selection menu open and pressing the tilde key should favorite the selected morph. If that's not working, you may need to check your keybindings to see if something from another mod is bound to tilde.
