Check your java install, make sure its updated.

Is this serverside?

Does singleplayer work?

Do other packs have this problem?

64bit os?

Uninstall the version of Java you have, and get the latest 64-bit version of Java 7.

That looks like the FTB download servers are having a problem. Try going into Options > Advanced Options and selecting a different download location.

Also, it's most useful if you use the "paste to pastebin" button rather than posting a screenshot, so we can see the entire console log. The first of all those red lines would be the most informative bit, but it's cut off.

Its fine now I just deleted the monster data and re-downloaded the pack successfully. now when I hit launch the launcher just disappears and doesnt open minecraft

EDIT: I think I found the error associated with it http://pastebin.com/ANFV8RXT

  1. [06:07:05] [ERROR] OutputOverride.write:46: From Console: May 22, 2014 6:07:05 AM java.util.prefs.WindowsPreferences <init>
  2. WARNING: Could not open/create prefs root node Software\JavaSoft\Prefs at root 0x80000002. Windows RegCreateKeyEx(...) returned error code 5.
