FTB Ultimate Server Crashes when after entering the nether

Crashes nether ultimate

Best Answer timrem , 10 July 2015 - 02:24 PM

A quick search turned up this related crash. While it was not resolved, someone suggested the problem might be a combination of chunkloading and XyCraft tanks. If you have any XyCraft tanks, try making sure that they are either completely within chunks covered by a chunkloader, or not covered by a chunkloader at all, and see if that resolves the issue.

Thanks i'm pretty sure that did it.  It has been a few minutes with no signs of trouble.  I checked my chunkloader laser grid and it was cutting my tanks in half so that was it.  Now i'm just curious how tank chunk loading affects the nether?

It wasn't affecting the nether per se, it was cropping up because you were leaving the overworld. Presumably the same thing would have occurred if you went to the End, the Twilight Forest, or any Mystcraft dimension. When you tried going to the nether, all that remained to load the overworld was your chunkloader, and it was only loading half your tank, so XyCraft freaked out and crashed.
