OK so I made a NavBox for the MPSaddons mod, now I just need to figure out how to create it, my multiple attempts so far were disasters, it's one thing to edit one, quite another to get a new one going... a point in the right direction would be greatly appreciated!

Well, the best way IMO is to copy the code of an existing navbox and then just edit it. I still do it this way, even though I've been on this wiki for 2 years.

Yes That's exactly what I did, but been my first "creation" I wasn't sure how to do that, the mess was because of a misplaced "<!--" what a disruption! I got it now! just a bit of perseverance... Layout is good, just a matter of fixing the links -- Thanks for the reply

Is there a way to make a list centered? looks odd all the way to the left...

lol hate that, one stray bit of code always messes it up, can you link to it?

I think we all do it that way :P

Here's the link to it: MPSaddons

I would prefer to use "Component" as the title to the first Navbox subgroup with no subtitle to group 1 and have the items centered...

| list1 = {{Navbox subgroup
	| title = Component
	| state = mw-collapsible <includeonly>mw-collapsed</includeonly>
	| group1 =
	| list1 =  {{NavItem|Computer Chip}}{{•}}<!--
			-->{{NavItem|Magnet|Grid Magnet (Component).png|Magnet (Component)}}{{•}}<!--
			-->{{NavItem|Solar Panel|Grid Solar Panel (MPSaddons).png|Solar Panel (MPSaddons)}}
	}}

I tried this sweet piece of code I found, but that didn't work within the list

<div style="column-count:3;-moz-column-count:3;-webkit-column-count:3"> ... </div>

Unless centering the text and using CSS columns helps to display a fact, the navbox should use the same style as all others. To make a navbox subgroup with only a single title-less group, use only the list1 param and leave group1 out.

Yeah I never liked that... you could give the one with no subcategories a single subcategory I guess?
Call it Components.
