Google wasn't very helpful, so I'd like to ask here -

I donated to Optifine, got the email that said the cape's active, but it's not showing up in-game. I've got all the "Show Capes" things that I know of turned on, etc etc.

I saw in a topic I was digging through that I might have to reinstall Optifine to get it to work properly, since something might've overwritten something or other.

Anyone have any input...? I'm not sure what to try, haha. Nothing urgent, given I got the confirmation email, but just curious...

Not yet, haven't gotten optifine installed on my vanilla files yet. Should probably do that... will edit when I do

edit: Works on vanilla 1.6.4.

Interesting. :D

Maybe...... there's a bug? Very highly unlikely, but possible, I guess. Did you install the exact same versions?

If so, maybe just go on some random famous YouTuber's FTB videos and see if they have capes. Maybe try Hat Films or some Mindcrack guys.

I'll have to get the 1.5.2 MC version in vanilla and try there... was hoping not to, I don't really want to mess with .jar files anymore, haha.

Though, capes are supposed to work for everyone using version OptiFine 1.1_B and above...

*waddles in a few weeks later*

Also noticed that MorePlayerModels isn't wanting to detect things on my skin, only local stuff - i.e. it won't read the dots on my skin to display the parts properly but it'll display the parts if it's using a local skin, one of the defaults that comes with it that you can change into through the mod menu.

Could that be linked to this...?

Also wondering if BackTools would hiccup it...
